1.Use of the CV generator

Lekelela helps you create professional CVs and find jobs that match your profile. By using the service, you agree to the following:

You provide accurate, truthful information about yourself. You are responsible for the content you enter and for reviewing your final CV before sending it to employers.
The CVs and job matches we produce are suggestions to help your search. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific outcome.
You keep ownership of the personal content you submit and the CVs you generate. You may download, edit and use them freely.
You will not use the service to create false or misleading documents, to impersonate another person, or for any unlawful purpose.
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country (in South Africa, 18 or older, or with the consent of a parent or guardian).

2.Pricing & billing

Our current plans and prices are listed on the Pricing page. The essentials:

Free to start. You can create your first CV on the free plan with no payment details required.
Paid plans are billed in South African Rand (ZAR) on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your account; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed afterwards.
Payments are processed securely by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
Price changes may happen from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice before any change affects you, and changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.
Refunds are handled in line with South African consumer-protection law. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will put it right.

3.Data security & privacy

Your CV contains personal information, and we treat it with care in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Only what we need to build your CV and match you with jobs: your contact details, work experience, education, certificates, activities, and the preferences you share. Payment details are collected and handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.

How we keep it secure

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected in storage.
Access is limited to authorised team members and systems that need it to run the service.
We use reputable infrastructure and apply security best practices to guard against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

How we use it

To generate your CV, suggest matching jobs, and operate and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted providers (such as hosting and payment processors) who help us run the service, and only as far as needed.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information at any time. We keep your data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted. 4.Acceptable use & system usage

You are responsible for keeping your account and login details secure.
Use the service fairly. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the system, and do not use it to distribute harmful or unlawful content.
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and may carry out maintenance or updates from time to time.
We may improve, change or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice.
The Lekelela name, brand and software remain our property. These policies do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these policies or use the service unlawfully.
